I've recently started having problems importing a Respondent Pool.
Until now - no problems. Here's a copy of the error message:

"There was a problem importing: Could not get the range. Exception of
type 'System.Exception' was thrown."

Thinking I made a formatting error, I tried exporting a pool, changing
1 thing, then importing it back into the system. Same error
message.

Any ideas? I have several hundred pools to get into the system by
next Monday.

Thanks!

I just figured out part of it... it will only import a pool if it's
delivery type "1" (single, or "Single Public URL"). Mine need to be
type 2 (multiple, or Email URL). So there's something going on...
Still need several hundred ["email url"] pools uploaded by next
Monday.

Monica,

We have reproduced the problem here with a different survey. We are
investigating.

While we are working on the problem with the software, we are also investigating workarounds that would let you create the respondent pools you need by Monday.

Thanks again, Joshua.  Indeed... I don't think there's any way I could manage to create all of those pools manually, by our deadline!  Each pool has 5-6 metadata items as well.

Hi Monica
We are working on a fix in our development system that will need to be tested.
But given we are down on staff due to thanksgiving leave and currently experiencing blizzard conditions since 7 pm last night here in WA, you should not expect to have a fix in place until sometime Monday morning.  We do not anticipate you will need to create the pools by hand. Thank you for your patience.

It would be helpful for testing to have a few lines of your actual import spreadsheet for testing.  Please do not send it here to the group as this is not secure as it would have email addresses.  Please send it as an attachment directly to my university email, pcollins at wsu.edu

Hi Monica
The fix is in place on the production system.

I will contact from my wsu email directly about one formatting issue in your spreadsheet.
