Has anyone encountered this? I've been having intermittent problems with SKY shutting down when I use control+C. It's pretty random; I don't lose data, but it certainly interrupts my flow. I never had this problem on my Windows 10 system- only on the Windows 11 system. That's the only difference I can think of, which likely has nothing to do with what's going on in SKY. At times I can go for long sessions without encountering this.

This hasn't happened to me in a while, but I have encountered it fairly frequently in the past. The best I could deduce is that I was moving to quickly and may have been accidentally hitting another key or combo of keys. I am currently using Windows 11, but it did happen when I was on Windows 10.  I have not been able to successfully troubleshoot, but I can sympathize with how annoying it is when it randomly happens!

I feel your pain, as do others. There are several threads on this topic.

At one point,  Shmuel Gerber suggesting trying this: Go into Windows settings and turn off "Clipboard history" and/or "Sync across devices". I haven't tried it.

When it starts happening, I just retrain myself to use my mouse. It doesn't happen with right-clicking and selecting Copy.

All the best,

Mary

Ctrl-C is commonly used to stop software. It is also used for copy. The behaviour will depend on context and the history of the development of your software. It will also depend on your computer and keyboard. I used to be able to rely on Ctrl-C stopping VBA until I changed to a computer which requires Esc.
