Opening SI7 index in SI8

How do I open a SKY 7 document in SKY 8? When I instruct SKY 8 to open, the list comes up without showing any of the SKY 7 documents. I also don’t see a way in SKY 7 to open the document in anything but SKY 7.

 

I’ve tried copying and pasting. In the SKY 7 document, Ctrl + A; Ctrl + C

I feel I should be able to paste the entire index in the new document, but it doesn’t work.

 

It’s been so long since I’ve tried using SKY 8.  😊

At the bottom of File Open screen are two options: 'File name' and 'Files of type' Click on the down arrow on the 'Files of Type' choice and choose the other one 'All readable SKY Index versions' and that should work.
