Importing txt file

When I import a txt file, it goes into the page column, and the entries won't move into another column.

Suggestions?

Are you sure you are completing the Import Field Mapping dialog correctly? If the imported filename extension is .txt then the dialog will pop up automatically. If you're unsure about how to complete it, click the question mark in the top right corner for instructions.

In addition to Michael's comment you could also follow the instructions in the manual.

I've just imported a tab delimited test txt file and there are no problems.
