Hi, Everyone.

I was able to fish it out of my backups folder. It looks like it saved my most recent changes.

I have no idea what happened.

I also don't know why my first message is not appearing on the SKYIndexUsers site.

Maybe your first message is just slow for you to see. I certainly saw it.
I don't know what happened to you, but good for you for knowing how to recover a backup! That's a helpful tool for all of us to know.
I have found that sometimes when something I expect will happen but it doesn't work, that I've screwed up the keyboard commands. SKY has so many of the! The go-back-to-the-full-index command is so close to the update the autocomplete file command... I goof those up a lot.
The good news is you got your index back.
Hear, hear!
Deborah

Thanks, Deborah.

That sounds like it might be what happened. A case of Tanglefinger. What are the go-back-to-the-full-index and update the autocomplete file commands?

I think it had something to do with being filtered.

All the best,

Mary

Yeah -- filtering can screw things up too.
update autocomplete is Alt+Ctrl+U
view whole index is Shift+Ctrl+U
With just one key difference I goof these up a lot. What I need is over there in the lower left part of the keyboard, but which is it again...?
All the best,
Deborah

Ah Ha!  Alt+Ctrl+U instead of  Shift+Ctrl+U is exactly what I did.

Thank you, Deborah!
