Diacritics in PDF-Xchange

I discovered yesterday that not all PDF readers are created equal. I tried using (the paid version) of PDF-Xchange on my current project but found that although diacritics appeared correctly in the text, they didn't copy into SKY. I got either plain letters (for vowels with macrons) or question marks (for letters with dots underneath). Since this project is full of names with diacritics, it took about 10 seconds to know that I couldn't use PDF-Xchange. Back to Adobe Reader.
