I get this message on a pretty much daily basis in Sky 8. I never ask Sky to open Word, I just let it generate and open in Word separately. I haven't stopped to check if the index has generated, but if I go again it does and seems OK. I assumed it was Sky getting tangled with something Windows was doing in the background.Still underwhelmed by Sky 8 - randomly not copying diacritics, some of the easy ones, in another text, they'll go into Sky 7 ok, and Notepad from whence I can copy into Sky 8. I assume it is something to do with the way the pdf was made. It's not all it was cracked up to be.--On Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at 9:19:50 PM UTC Jochen Fassbender wrote:Hi Mary,
Just curious. Did you also try Index > Generate without opening your Word?
Then go to your File Explorer and open the rtf there.
It would be interesting to see if the notice would also come up or if it
also just generated 3/4 of one page.

I use Arial for input and Times New Roman for output. The current pdf is Times New Roman so far as I can see.
No more vanilla than that I would have thought.
