In subentries, I'm using the initials AT for the main person in a book. But of course Sky ignores "at" in subs. So, for example, I have several subs in one entry:
AT's speech on X
AT's speech on Y

They're sorting on S.
Is there a way to tell Sky to be case sensitive here, or do I need to add something to AT (like AdT) and change it in Word?? Or is there a way to code these few instances so that I can override Sky here? I'm a bit brain dead at this point and the deadline is near.

Happy indexing!

When I run into situations like this, I put hidden text in front of the subentry so that Sky sorts it correctly. In this instance, I would type at'sspeechAT's speech on X and format at'sspeech as hidden text. Then Sky will sort it correctly and you don't have to worry about other entries that start with "at" being sorted wrong.

Hope this helps,
Cheryl

I'm a bit late to this one but do you have any "at"s in your subs? I have to say it would be rare for me to start a subheading with "at" but maybe not in your case. If you haven't got any in your subheads, then why not just take the "at" out of the ignored words list in data entry - you can add and remove whatever words you want to the standard list. The menu path is Options>Data Entry> Ignored Words. It would be simpler than using hidden text.
