Sky index will not open

Hi all,

Really hoping that someone has experienced this and knows the solution.  

When I click on the Sky icon, it starts to open and then nothing.  Just closes.  I've tried opening program from the icon and from indexes in the backup folder, in the computer hd and from the usb/flash drive.  Nothing.  Just will not open the program or an index.

Any ideas?

Thank you for such a prompt response Deborah, I had trying to open the program from windows search as well as a range of other options.  Without success.

I think I have resolved it - but I fear it is a short term option.  I went to the backup folder in files and instead of clicking open, I clicked restore - 4 times.  The first three times, no success - but on the 4th try an index opened the program.

So annoying, I'm on a timeline (like everyone) and I just lost 3 hours indexing.  Now I'll be working late into the night to make that up.

Feeling a bit grumpy

Did you ever find a solution to this problem? The only backups I see are from my attempts to open it today. And another index I was working on last month.
