lots xref caps

Hi!

Sky 8 issue:

So I'm using an indented format and noticed I didn't choose the "take
parens off cross references". So I clicked that box and then also
clicked "If target is formatted, remove cross-ref formatting".

All my cross references then became all caps.

I unchecked the above and now all my cross references are small letters
- even the letters that should be caps.

I have not done any other changes.

What gives? How do I get what I want?
