Hi, Everyone.

How does one change all straight quotation marks into curly?

I know the setting for it, but how does one change them in bulk after data entry?

I did a find & replace, but that turned them all into open quotation marks. (On the bright side, if there is no bulk action I can take, at least doing it manually is reduced by half!)

Thank you,

Mary

Hi Mary,
I replace the straight quotes with curly quotes in Word. Just a quick Find/Replace with the double quote in both the Find and the Replace boxes then click Replace All. You might have to make sure that Autoreplace is set to replace straight quotes with curly ones for it to work. I also do the same thing to replace single prime with curly apostrophe. Takes just a few seconds.
Hope this helps!
