Hi all. Can anyone shed any light on the following error message I keep receiving:

"Duplicating the selected records would exceed the maximum number of allowed records. The current action has been cancelled."

Thanks in advance.

Are you using the student version of SKY? If so, there’s a limit to how many records you can have. I think about 300.

If you’re writing a practice index, you can start one or more new index files. Have each file for a certain range of the alphabet, e.g. A-H, I-P, Q-Z. Copy the records you already have into the appropriate files and add new records to their corresponding files. Then merge them in Word.

Once you want to seriously index for clients, you should buy the full version of SKY.
