Populating subheading field

Hi all,

Does anyone know of a way to make all of a subheading field have the same entry without manually copying and pasting? I'm working on a personal indexing project and I have an existing index that I've added an additional subheading field to and I want every entry to have the same Sub 1 (I shifted all existing Sub 1 to Sub 2). If anyone has any ideas, I'd love to hear them! Thank you!

I would select the required records and use add a  prefix to the subhead.
