Today I found a project from OpenLDAP called LMDB that is a memory mapped key/value store:
The benchmarks on it are impressive compared to LevelDB:
Has anyone had any experience with it? I'd be interested in trying it out instead of LevelDB. Going from the original memory mapped format to LevelDB gave Sky a 5x slowdown. It'd be nice to get some of that performance back.
