We just had a great event at the Truckee Airshow yesterday! I had coordinated with Cessna to have one of their interns bring a Skycatcher to the event as well, so we had two of them parked right next to each other. The interest from the crowd was just phenomenal! I got there at 8AM, and I had a constant stream of people stopping to look and ask questions. Dozens of kids got their first picture sitting in an airplane in our Skycatcher. There were times when the Cessna guy and I were both swamped with people at the same time. I will be very surprised if I don’t get a couple of students and a couple of check-outs from this event.
Many thanks to the great folks at Truckee airport who put on the event, and to Cessna for teaming with us to market this great machine!

Interesting. I’m IFR rated as well. If I was flying in the clouds, I would want another radio, but day VFR?
What day VFR task do you want it to do, that it can’t do? I guess I could have used a second one Saturday flying back from the airshow. I was too low to hear the Reno ATIS when I took off from Truckee, and it would have been helpful to have a second radio to wait for the ATIS to come alive while I was talking to NorCal approach. As it was, I just flipped-flopped to the ATIS every once in a while until I got it. Worked fine.
