Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.69.57.1220
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? I have every pack except, snowy escape, journey to batuu, nifty knitting, moschino, backyard stuff, movie hangout, spooky, cool kitchen, and luxury party.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Try to go to the Dumpsters in Eco Lifestyle or on your lot or anywhere in any of the worlds and sort out the trash and you wont receive any bits and pieces. When you go up to the recycler you lose everything you put in and you don't get anything back.
What happens when the bug occurs? You don't get any bits or pieces and you lose all your materials that you put into the recycler without getting bits or pieces.
What do you expect to see? I expect bits and pieces given to me.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. It was the patch on December 7th
I don't work or have any association with EA. I give advice to the best of my knowledge and cannot be held responsible for any damage done to your computer/game.
Please only contact me via PM when asked to do so.
Yes and no, so like I can do all the interactions whether it be on the recycler or on any trash pile or dumpster. They process normally without any lagging or resetting of the sims, but the only thing is no bits or pieces are registered. Also I didn't move my household prior to doing this. Maybe it's the same thing but maybe its worded a bit differently and I'm just missing that. But thank you!

Please describe the patch or change you made. the big update around HSY
I haven't played since the big update around HSY (though I don't have the pack itself). Now whenever I create a new save and try to use the Recycler from Eco Lifestyle, I don't get any bits or pieces. On community lots I get nothing. On my home lot simoleons are returned. I can still get bits/pieces from rummaging in trash.
@shinjitenoyami The post is still open so I'll merge this.
Sometimes bugs need a certain trigger to occur and sometimes bugs that have been only seen by a handful suddenly become a general issue.
Update: Even in an existing save, recycling a burnt item only gives 1 wrench (bit or piece?). Last I checked the whole point of retrieving burnt items from the dumpster was to recycle them for lots of free bits & pieces.
The phrase follows a well-established pattern in the English language to convey things small and sundry: odds and ends, nooks and crannies, dribs and drabs, bits and pieces. The construction features an expressive redundancy that serves to emphasize the smallness of the matter.
Google Trends also shows an annual spike in popularity for bits and pieces in the months of November and December, which may be attributed to particular holiday food dishes with the phrase bits and pieces in the name, particularly a Midwestern cheese ball dish with various bits and pieces of nuts and herbs.
This is not meant to be a formal definition of bits and pieces like most terms we define on Dictionary.com, but is rather an informal word summary that hopefully touches upon the key aspects of the meaning and usage of bits and pieces that will help our users expand their word mastery.
Film archives regularly receive short excerpts of films that have long since been forgotten or lost. In most cases, these pieces are ultimately thrown away, because it is almost impossible (and extremely inefficient) to identify, register and complete them.
Yet such fragments can sometimes be so special that archive workers feel they cannot simply throw them away: this is how the Bits & Pieces collection started.
After 20 years and various curators, making Bits & Pieces (B&P) compilations has become a tradition for generations of archivists at Eye. There are now more than six hundred items and that number continues to grow.
The aim is to share with the audience the confusion and admiration of the archivist on seeing these images for the first time. The archivist is the one who finds and displays the material but is not a filmmaker.
When Bits & Pieces started, it was simply not possible for many of these items to find out exactly which films they came from. This was especially true for film fragments that were suspected to be of foreign origin.
Times have changed and many fragments have been identified in recent years. However, there are still items that have resisted recognition. Now that we are gradually uploading all Bits & Pieces to a playlist on YouTube, everyone with an interest in silent film can try and solve these mystery snippets.
The entrance leads directly into the shop, with a wooden bench and small round table on the left. The counter is at the far end of the room in front of the south wall. All of the items on display around the shop are Displayed Merchandise, with the exception of any items in containers or in the display cabinets, the herbs hanging from the ceiling, a loose septim under the counter, and another loose septim on the shelves behind the counter. The herbs hanging from the ceiling are a total of seven garlic braids, and three bunches of dried elves ear. Against the west wall is an expert-locked display cabinet containing a Dwarven dagger, a steel dagger and a leveled warhammer. There is a second expert-locked display cabinet containing a leveled greatsword (up to Daedric) (see bugs) and a leveled dagger. There is a chair between these two cabinets, where you will often find Sayma sitting upon entering the store. There is a central pillar supporting the vaunted ceiling and in the northwestern corner is a cooking fire at eye level with an empty metal pot in front of it and two more hanging above it inside, with a set of double doors leading to the residence.
Through the doors into the residence there is a wooden bench under two wall shelves on the left, on the south wall, with a couple of pieces of cheese on them and a common book on the bench. In the northeastern corner is a cupboard holding two sweet rolls, a bowl containing tomatoes, a haunch of raw venison, three loaves of bread and several pieces of cheese, with a wall shelf on the east wall to the right of it holding crockery. To the left of the cupboard, against the north wall, is a bookcase holding six common books, a flute and a potion of health, while in the northwestern corner is a long wooden table and two chairs, with a potion of regeneration, a bunch of tundra cotton, a baked potato, a salmon steak, a seared slaughterfish, a loaf of bread, a couple of wheels of cheese and two loose septims on top. To the left of this, along the west wall, is a wooden bench with a small unit holding a bottle of alto wine separating the table and bench. To the south is a stairwell with a flight up to the top floor and a flight down to the cellar.
Halfway up there is a large vase with a snowberry bush planted in it. At the top of the stairs is a L-shaped balcony with two doors off of it on the west wall. In front of you is a small seating area with a low chair, square wooden table and small round table in the corner with an iron dagger on top. On the square table is a plate of bread and cheese with a bottle of wine and a goblet. Around the corner is a narrow table with a bowl of bread and a plate with two tomatoes and an eidar cheese wedge on top. Above this is a wall shelf holding a bunch of elves ear. At the northern end of the balcony is a bookcase holding eleven common books, a potion of health and a flute, with a drum beside it and a chair in front.
The first door opens into a bedroom containing a single bed in the northwestern corner with an open crate at the foot of it containing a bunch of tundra cotton. There is also a small round table with the business ledger on top. To the right against the east wall is a small wardrobe with a set of clothes on top and a washbasin on a stand beside it. In the southwestern corner is a tall wardrobe containing fine clothes, with a wall shelf, chair and small wardrobe along the south wall, while opposite the small wardrobe is a small cupboard with an apprentice-locked strongbox containing random items on top of it.
