Layout changes

Hi. I’m modifying /apps/views/layouts files (eg _footer) but the changes are not taking, even after restarting or logging in via different browser. Is there something else I need to do? Does _footer need to be replicated somewhere else?

Changing application.rhtml works fine but not _footer.rhtml.

Problem solved – I remembered Jits’ suggestion for my other problem, of running rake tmp:cache:clear – that did it.
