I wondered if it was possible to use Skosmos with GraphDB. I pointed one of my vocabularies to a repository in GraphDB.
GraphDB has more user interface, visual tools and functionality than Fuseki, I find it a good tool to use.

Set the sparql endpoint:

Point to a specific named graph in the repository:
skosmos:sparqlGraph <https://mydomain.nl/graph/courses/> ;

Set the sparqlDialect to Generic in my vocabulary.
skosmos:sparqlDialect "Generic" ;

And it works. It show the data and you can search it.

Hi Henk,

This sounds great! We haven't (yet) used Skosmos with GraphDB, but I
know others have done it. FYI, there are some recent open PRs related to
GraphDB:

GraphDB text search dialect
https://github.com/NatLibFi/Skosmos/issues/628
https://github.com/NatLibFi/Skosmos/pull/1245

Query optimisation for GraphDB
https://github.com/NatLibFi/Skosmos/pull/1240

Best,
Osma

I need to point out that if you mix fuseki and graphdb repositories in Skosmos the search across all repositories won't work. So, you  have to choose one database if you want to keep this ability.

Hi Henk!

Yes, that is correct. The global search relies on the default SPARQL
endpoint and there can be only one. It is not possible to search across
more than one endpoint, regardless of the implementation (Fuseki,
GraphDB or other).
