Skosmos roadmap for 2026

Note that while high‑level goals for the year are listed on our roadmap page, concrete development tasks continue to be managed through GitHub issues and the Skosmos 3.x and NatLibFi Skosmos backlogs.

Our main focus for 2026 is migrating our own Skosmos instance, https://finto.fi,  to version 3.x. We will of course continue to support and work for other users in the wider Skosmos community as well. Also note that Finto is an important national service and therefore Skosmos development is a part of basic operation of the National Library of Finland, which ensures continuity for development and maintenance.
