This may seem like a naive question but  I have a .skos file that I would like to load in protege. how could I load this file? I have the skos plugin but I dont see any import option or anything like that.

Hi Alex,
You should be able to open the file as normal in Protege, and then use the View > SKOSEd tab.

There is a known bug where SKOSEd views don't work if the file doesn't contain an explicit ontology declaration. This can be fixed by:
1. open your file into protege
2. Give it an ontology URI if it doesn't have one (Refactor > Change OntologyURI)
3. save and re-open

Let me know if you have any problems.
Cheers
Simon
