Load file with SKOS Java API

Hi,

I am afraid this is a newbie question so please bear with me.

How to I open an arbitrary SKOS file like the ACM one [1] and check its contents?

I checked the examples yet using the file from [1] locally stored instead of the example files did not result in anything useful.
