Validatin Error for 24Q

Dear Friends,

I really need your help ……….

I am working on 4^th Q Form24Q since last several days. Finally I have created the text file (24QRQ4) with the RPU Version1.00 (New).

Please let me know, do we need to send this text file. I have run this file with the help of TDS FVU Setup (as we normally do for the 1^st, 2^nd & 3^rd Q’s) and I found the below error.

Dear Friend

I find that you have generated the etds using free program given by
tin-nsdl.
There is a defect in this program.
u will notice that the error you get will start from line no.6

This is because the "DD" particlurs are wrongly fomatted by the
program.
Pl note that "CD" means Challan Detail and "DD" means Deductor details.
For each CD the conected DD must be a fresh sequence.
For example in a file sent by one of the members have been corrected
upto line number 73.
Now Line 75 & 76 are reproduced here:

To set this right do as under.

Open the txt file generated in notepad, I would prefer it in "edit.com"
[U can get edit.com by clicking Start button then select run and enter
edit.com
in the window.]

U will see that line 75 reads: 75^CD^1^37^1^N
while line 76 reads: 76^DD^1^37^37^O

Now u see that 37 is repeated in line 76. Replace the second ?37? with
?1?
If u have more than one Deductee details linked to one Challan the
replace the rest of DD with 2, 3 ... etc.

save the file and exit. now validate the file and ur job will be done.

That is why when people have only on Challan and one one or more
deductee details they do not have any problem.

Dear Jati and Bharat,

Error T-FV-4007 can be sorted out by writing '1" in co. 331 of annexure I for all the deductees. Any other number is showing error.

I had a similar ptroblem which has been sorted out. Hope this sorts out your problem. Please let me know the result.
