suggestions

I guess it's about that time and time to change the career..trying  to switch to the development world while working in this same position..just wanted to get started with coding and programming...I have some knowledge but not a whole lot..where do you guys think I should be starting for coding courses? Any links/books suggestions will be appreciated.
