Hello SkiffHackers!

Sorry I've been quiet for a bit, got flu for a week just after
SkiffHack then busy busy.

Thanks to everyone who came, it was a really fun day and I enjoyed it a lot.

It would be great to get some of the stuff we worked on finished and
usable by the people of the Skiff. I suggest we meet up for another
bout of hacking soon and maybe try and get some of this stuff online!
I'm thinking the afternoon of Friday 17 Feb. Who's up for it?

Here's my summary of the day, it's probably incomplete so please do
post and let us know if I missed out what you were working on or left
your name of something your were involved in! It would be great to
hear from the people involved how each of these went and what state
their in now.

Hiya

17th sounds a good idea, sign me up! I've been working on improving
the system for booking rooms.

I built the core of the booking system, now I need to build the
payment and/or credits system around it so will be good to put some
more time aside. The plan is when you buy a membership you get a
certain amount of credits for room booking depending on your
membership, and booking a room will decrease the amount of credits you
have.

It's currently residing at

http://open4.org/coworking/space/the-skiff

which you're free to register and play around with (data won't be
saved in the long run, it's just a test site) but the features/modules
will run on any drupal 7 site so doesn't have to be on open4.org.

Sorry for missing you off the list Steve, I did know about your work
on the meeting room bookings but it totally slipped my mind while I
was writing that email.

Great to see the system progressing, it's definitely something that's needed!

No worries, and before anyone says it - no, I haven't connected the
calendar to the actual bookings yet...

The system so far allows you to create coworking spaces, rooms, and
meetings so is fairly generic in that sense.

I'll do some tidying up - been a bit busy lately with election fever!

17th Feb should be fine. I just had some "About" text on the
SkiffTasks app to write, and to work with you, Tom, on the SkiffID /
BrowserID integration.
