License for skia logo

Hi there,

I am putting together a science paper and want to acknowledge the use of skia in my software. In one of the figures I have used the Skia logo to indicate the use of the library in the software. I have been asked by the journal editors, what is the license for using this logo? Do you know if the main BSD3 license also covers the use of this logo?

Can't speak to "rights", but that was the original "logo" for Skia, and was designed by Steve Matteson https://mattesontypographics.com/

Hey there,

Unfortunately Google hasn't set up an open-source license for reuse of the Skia logo. With past requests, we've had to go through branding for approvals, which is so tedious it is often easier for the published piece to make mention without the logo...
