Any instruction on how to add resource. rc file for adding version info, company name info to skia.dll

I want to add some info like version info, company name info, copyright info to skia.dll, but have no idea how to do this. It looks like one method is to add by resource.rc file, but I don't know how and where to include the rc files?
Is there any instruction about this?

i think the resource.rc file is specific to Visual Studio

i have seen resource.rc files generated by Magnum Graphics library via it's resource compiler
