Hi all,

Highlights of the 8.1.1 release are:

Persistent Alignments
Alignments are now remembered for ~18 hours. That is, they survive app restarts, device restarts, and well, the occasional app crash too. Even within the app, you can move between screens, change locations, and the alignments will still be correctly remembered, for each location.

Also, when indirect mode is active, an icon is now shown on the Map screen. Clicking this icon will take you to the Indirect mode screen, where you can add or remove alignments.

Translations
I have updated a few of the translations manually, and also setup a crowd-sourced translation website here:

You are invited to help translate the app to your favourite language. If you need any help with it, please let me know.

Internal changes
This version saw a huge update to the code. The app was earlier written in Java, but I have now converted most of it to a newer language called Kotlin. This will help me update the app faster, but it also means there might be some "breaking" changes.

I haven't encountered any bugs / crashes so far, but if you do, please email me with details.

cheers,

Thanks!.  Persistent Alignments will be a major factor in the usability of your app... looking forward to continuing to use them.
