Sketchup for Woodworkers tutorials are exactly what I was looking for.

I've been trying to get started with Sketchup for several months now but could not find tutorials that got to the meat and potatoes until I stumbled on the Sketchup for Woodworkers site.  I am usually pretty comfortable figuring applications out on my own, but Sketchup has been the exception to that rule.

The tutorials are valuable tools for this novice woodworker.
