Hello everyone. In the sketchup world, i am pondering how we will go
about having an economy. anyone have ideas? if so, don't be shy --
spit em out!

why would we need a coin?

Virtual economies in other virtual worlds are usually under-pinned by selling in-world advertising. So we need a world first and people using it for this to work. Otherwise the economy would collapse.
Or, do we come up with something different, maybe a 3d modelling barter system?

yes, while that will be a great idea once we get everything up and
running, i think what we really need is some type of software to keep
track of everything, i.e. how much money each person has, what/how
many items they own, etc. Anyone know of such programs?

Have any of you ever seen those pages which you get coins, or points
for contribuiting, or maybe a constant income, this being weekly or
daily, and extras would be granted if they do something useful? such
system could be applied?
if anyone knows how to work with databases, that wouldnt store the
info?
