Where are the start and end files stored that skeinfox uses? I am
trying to change the temperature, but no matter what I set the temp
to, my g-code files all have a start and end command to set the temp
to 240....?
thanks

Ah yes, thanks for that. I forgot the original instructions.
However, I was trying to find the place where the current start and
end come from. There is no file already called
"start_SkeinFox_MakerBot_ABS.gcode". Must be embedded in code or
somesuch place.
thanks. (also thanks for writing great program!)

Oh, ya you will find that it's hard-coded in the "Preface" tool. You can change those file names to whatever you want, too.

Found 'em. Thanks, that works well.
Can I bug you with a new question? Do you have good control of the
ooze with your default settings in skeinfox? I am having a devil of a
time
and nothing I seem to do in oozebane decreases those strands.

start decreasing your temperature, 5 degrees at a time (but don't go too low, you will strip your filament). use the oozebane.stl file as a reference print file to test. also, turning on "comb" keeps the travel from jumping across open gaps inside a given volume. so that will help too.

attached are my current oozebane settings, if that helps too...
