Hello! I am hoping that somebody can help me out with this as I've searched YouTube and tried to do it myself with no success.
What I'm trying to do is add a line of text (subtitle) underneath the Title of my Projects.
So for example my first project is NEXT underneath that I would like to write a sentence that basically explains what the person will see once they open that project. I would like the subtitle text to be the font/size of my Paragraph 1 text (the same as the text underneath my name). I would like to be able to do this for all my projects (there are 4 total).
I am using a template but I do not remember which one unfortunately.
I would really really appreciate it if somebody could provide me with an answer to this! Please let me know what additional information I need to provide to get an answer to this. Thank you in advance!
Hello!
Are you able to share a link to the site? I think it could be something as simple as adding a text block and selecting Paragraph 1 for the size (unless you're using the portfolio or blog feature to display this information). I'd be happy to take a look at your site though to make sure I understand exactly what you're asking!
@tuanphan Hi thank you for this! I see it has worked for other designers, but I am a bit confused by the instructions.
I can find my URL slug underneath home (am I supposed to change something here? What do I do once I find the URL?I don't have an option for advanced settings within the settings menu for the project.
However, I can get Advanced Settings if I open the settings menu for my home screen where it lists all of my projects. (See photo below)
I have inputted the code and saved it yet no change. I am doing something wrong or possibly skipping a step. Can you explain what I need to do step by step, please? I'd appreciate it thank you ?.
@Snowday Hi thank you for answering! So unfortunately because of the portfolio template I used, I cannot add a text block. I only have the option to manage projects. I tried to do the solution that TuanPhan provided, but I didn't quite understand the instructions. I did see that it worked for others! I probably just didn't input the code in the right place or I missed a step. Link is below!

Got it! I think Tuanphan's solution is perfect for you! He has helped me with many problems and issues in the past and is a tremendous resource to this community.
For his solution, instead of adding the code to the Portfolio Settings > Advanced (Page Header Code Injection), you'll want to add the code to the site CSS area which can be found here: Website > Website Tools (toward the bottom of the website editor side menu) > Custom CSS.
To make sure the code works for you, take each project URL and add it to the code by replacing the placeholder URLs in the code. So in the code below, replace blue with your URLs, replace green with your desired subtitles. If you have more than 2, just copy and paste the last 3 lines of code until you have enough to cover all of your projects.
To adjust the color and size of the subtitle text, adjust the lines in red below. Font size will be in pixels and you can mess with this until you find the right fit. Color can be basic like "black", or "red", or for a more custom color you can use a hex code like #FFFFFF (which is white).
Let me know if you need further assistance!
@tuanphan @Snowday Thank you so very much! I really appreciate it, this makes all the difference I couldn't have done this without both of your help!
The fix worked perfectly, I have one last question! I would like to change the weight of the subtitle text to 300px so it matches my Paragraph 1 text. Right now it looks a little bold, like the same weight of the title which I believe is 500px. I would also like to reduce the spacing between the lines of subtitle text a bit.
Are these changes possible? If not that's okay. Once again thank you both so much for the detailed explanations!
Hello! @Snowday@tuanphan I'm having this same issue as well -- I tried copying & pasting the code, but it's not working. I wonder if it's because I'm using the Flatiron template which is a little older? Let me know if you might have other ideas for how I can get this to work! Here's a link to my portfolio:

you can (mostly) change subtitles to display as light grey, etc. when loading a video, which will help you save your eyeballs, but only after enough time passes for your vision to return to you first.
Since it is not possible to change the color or format of PGS subtitles it would be incredible helpful if one could change the brightness of them, being able to dim them. So if the subtitles are white or too bright they look more like gray. Bright subtitles look very bad and distracting in dark scenes.
When watching SDR content with normal levels of brightness, gray subtitles, for example, look dim as they should, however using the same subtitle setting in HDR returns way brighter subtitles. There should be a way to change the opacity of both subtitles independently, so both SDR and HDR have different settings.
Captions (subtitles) are available on videos where the owner has added them, and on some videos where YouTube automatically adds them. You can change the default settings for captions on your computer or mobile device.
But sometimes I find that subtitles are off by as many as several seconds when watching a film in Infuse. And even if I adjust the time offset so that they are back in sync, at some point I find that they get out of sync again.
One thing to keep in mind is that subtitles timings can vary based on the frames per second (FPS) of the video. For example, movies released in the US are encoded at 24 FPS while movies released in the UK (and some other parts of the world) are encoded at 25. Using a 25fps subtitle with a 24fps video (and vice versa) will cause the subtitles to become increasingly out of sync as the movie goes one.
So, for example, if you notice your subtitles are appearing 5 seconds late, you would want to set your offset to -5.00. The plus/minus buttons can be used to go up/down in 0.25s increments, or you can tap the number text to type in a specific value.
I would like to add a book subtitle to a tufte-book. Alas, I've tried several methods to add a subtitle, such as those based on the package titling, but all disrupt the font, layout, author name, and so on.
The problem, though, is that anywhere the title is re-used (e.g., in headers and footers) I get the FULL title (which includes the subtitle), all too long and with mixed font sizes and such. All I want in these calls is the TITLE (not the subtitle).
Talk to support via chat. Or message them via eBay for Business on Facebook. The few gallery plus upgrades I've accidentally done they reimbursed. Have since made it so the upgrade fields were hidden in the listing screen. But looks like you can hide them now in the new listing page so less of an issue for me now.
Yes it is. I never typed anything in that subtitle line. I noticed it was there when I was doing the listing but I never typed anything there and did actually try to delete it because it looked suspicious. It was not possible to delete it. Maybe it's a flaw in the new eBay listing form. This was the first time I had used it. As usual all eBay flaws miraculously benefit eBay. They get my $2.00 and I get nothing for it. And no obvious way to ask for a credit.
You need to revise the listing and remove the subtitle, before the listing gets renewed, on Nov 13, 2022, because it will be charged again each month unless you remove it. I see that you revised it yesterday, but only the price was changed.
This company is getting out of control. I was revising a small item and it had a line for subtitle and I just happened to put a one word in there probably meaning nothing but was then charged $2 when I went to see my payments screen. Not more than 1 minute after seeing this I deleted the whole item for sale. There is no mention of this fee how was I to know what was going on. Are you telling me that I'm supposed to look at every small fine print piece of information on the internet otherwise I will get screwed. I can't wait until eBay gets a multi-billion dollar lawsuit and has to refund everybody...
I want to add effects to my subtitles such as a zoom in when it appears or shakiness when the text is in frame, but when I try to add any effects to the subtitle layer, it won't let me. There's no effects window for the subtitle layer, either. I'm very confused by this. It seems it should be simple to add these effects, and I'm not sure why I can't. At the very least I feel that I should be able to convert the subtitles to regular text so I can edit it that way, but there is no way to do that-- I've tried exporting as a .SRT and re-importing but it puts it on the subtitle layer. Any workarounds you've found? I want to put animations on my text without having to manually type out the whole video.
I'm trying to plot a bar chart using plotly and I wanted to add a caption and subtitle.(Here you can take any example of your choice to add caption and subtitle)
My code for plotting the bar chart:
Use fig.update_layout(title_text='Your title') for your caption. There's no built-in option for subtitles. But you can get the desired effect by moving the x-axis labels to the top and at the same time insert an annotation at the bottom right. I've tried with other y-values as well, but there doesn't seem to be a way to get the annotations outside the plot itself. You could also change the fonts of the caption and subtitle to make them stand out from the rest of the labels.
