Free shares are randomly selected from a list of interesting US and UK companies, ETFs, and trusts. Each free share will be valued up to 100.
The probability is weighted, so more expensive shares will be rarer. The below table shows the average probability distribution of free shares.

Your free share will show as pending as soon as your friend completes the required steps. It will be revealed usually within 7-10 days of you qualifying.

Approximately 95% of instruments awarded will have a value between 3 and 10. Approximately 3% of instruments awarded will have a value between 10.01 and 25. The remaining 2% of instruments awarded will have a value between 25.01 and 200 (based on the price of the instruments at the time of awarding).
I seem to remember that the freeshare promotion gives problems/does not work on the App, is there any way of fixing it manually?
If not then I understand, I told him to do it on the computer but he ended up using his phone. Either way, please confirm .
It seems the link to app issue was caused by having a certain data tracker setting on your phone set to block/deny, hence why it very rarely occurs. for peace of mind I have always advised the pc route as the webpage it loads tells you that the code worked as intended.
The referral links are working just fine. If there was a problem, then it was going to affect all incoming referrals instead of some of them. What we have troubleshot in the past is clients who are using a referral link, however, their Adblocker (or similar) is enabled, thus why an account cannot be attributed to a link. Nonetheless, be sure to reach out at in...@trading212.com, and our team will check further each case.
Did you ever get your free share after? I just referred someone now they signed up and funded there account no freeshare notification popped up telling me i had a mystery share unlike last time when it was instantaneous?
Im chasing it up now, why say theres no limit if after one referral it doesnt work, waiting on viktor to message me back now and ill have all that info for him such bs having to do this it should just work as advertised
Not sure why you expect a boss to email you back about a share as that seems a bit above his pay grade. The app chat will sort it out for you no problems. You can refer as many people as you like and it seems the vast majority and especially members who have been on the forum for more than a month never seem to have any issues with the referral system even if a tad slow as advertised.
