Okay, so Tuesday night, I spent from about 9pm to 12 am trying to get the XBox 360 Kinect recognized on my computer, which is a Windows 10 laptop.  But it would recognize it, then immediately cut out, then recognize it again, and cut out.  I downloaded everything from the Windows Support page to attempt and get the 360 Kinect to work with my computer, all the drivers, all the SDK kits, everything, like 10 gigs of programs.  Always the same problem.  I assumed it had something to do with the fact that both my USB ports on my laptop are USB 3.0, that seemed to be an issue with for the 360 Kinect.  Either that, or it's a Windows 7 compatibility issue.  So, today, I go out and get myself an XBox One Kinect.  Now, when I plug it into one of my USB ports, I get a message saying it didn't install properly.  Then I switch it out to my other USB port, and my computer recognizes it, amazing.  But it's still not fully installed.  Ask the computer to automatically download the latest driver, and it does, and then finally, I have a working Kinect Camera.  I open up Skanect, and I still don't have a recognized camera from the program.  What?  So, I go to the website, and I find out that the XBox One Kinect isn't supported by the program.  Now, you say your program supports the Kinect Camera.  Windows 10 seemingly doesn't support the XBox 360 Kinect.  Your program doesn't support the XBox One Kinect.  So, how is it exactly that I am supposed to be able to use a Kinect Camera with Skanect?  Because as far as I can tell, neither option actually works, either because Microsoft doesn't support the 360 Kinect on Windows 10, or Skanect doesn't support the XBox One Kinect.  Wonderful.

I too had the same issue with plugging in xbox360. turns out my power adapter to it was faulty, when i plugged in a good adapter, it no longer disconnect/reconnect/disconnect/reconnect...etc.

as far as the xbox one, it requires the SDK 2.0, not the 1.8 for the 360, even though skanect doesnt support the ONE, windows 10 does.
