Hello

I just picked up a Carmine 1.09 sensor, and installed the OpenNI 2.0 64bit drivers from the Skanect download page.  The drivers installed without issue, but Skanect can't see the Carmine, and in Device Manager it says "No Drivers Installed" for the sensor.  When I start the OpenNI Viewer, I get the following message: "DeviceOpen using default: no devices found."  But the sensor is attached, and shows up in the Device Manager under "Other Devices" with the "alert" symbol on it to let me know something is wrong.  Just trying to fond out why the sensor and driver aren't getting along.

I do also have the Kinect For Windows SDK installed, and my Kinect works fine.  I don't know if there is an incompatibility having both installed.

I am new to all this, and I am no computer whiz.  Any help would be appreciated.

Figured it out.  Not sure why, but the Primesense Driver that was installed with the file I got off the Skanect site didn't support the 1.09 sensor.  I found an updated driver, installed it, and everything works now.

Yeah, I had problems getting the Carmine 1.09 working recently too.  For anyone who has problems in the future, getting the OpenNI 2.2.0.33 Beta (x64) from http://structure.io/openni worked well for me!

Thanks for letting us know, we've just updated the links on skanect.com.
