I just purchased Skanect and the free version works just fine on my win8.1 work computer with the sensor. I bring the sensor home with the pro verson on a win10 computer and it doesn't display any images. It recognizes the sensor and everyone is green, but no images. Here is the log file.

Hi Chris,

Did you check if Microsoft released an updated driver for Kinect for
Windows and Windows10?

just updated my laptop to Windows 10(64bit), re-installed the 1.8 SDK for driver support. it used to get 12fps on medium as i only have Intel 3000HD video driver. unsupported gpu. now it gets 15-18fps while object is moving.  I know its not much of an improvement with a simple laptop, but now i know my Desktop will work. (it has been failing the update, time to redo it)

#1. you will need the Xbox360 kinect with the usb extension/breakout cable.
#2 you will need the kinect SDK 1.8 drivers located at KinectDrivers1.8
download and install drivers then plug in kinect.in your device manager they should list as 4 devices. If it lists as 1 device, plug in the power adapter
#3, you will need to install Skanect version 1.8.4 to make use of the GTX 1060 card
when running skanect the first time, you can go to Settings to enable GPU, high feedback, all frames, etc.
