I have an Intel Realsense scanner and was wondering if Skanect had any plans to support it?

I love scanect and wish I could use the new scanner with it rather than trying to find other 3d scanning software that supports these new scanners.

Been asking this as well no answer. Mine should be here tomorrow so I guess we will find out if it's supported .

Just saw your post. I tried it with skanect when I got mine a few weeks back when I first posted the question. No luck.

Wondering why there has been no response about support or no support for the Realsense?

Can't tell if it's just because no one from Skanect is posting replies in the forum regularly? I am pretty bad at keeping up with such things so that would not surprise me. Still it would be nice to hear something even if it's just "we have no information about that now" kind of a reply.

My guess is that since they're owned by Occipital now, they're only focused on building software for their products. Although I have yet to see much progress with Occipital's apps for their sensor. A bit of a shame since I had bought into their hardware and software hoping it would improve over time.

Hi,

The RealSense camera is not currently supported by Skanect but we will
investigate to see if it is feasible to support in the future.
