i get always the same error - "Structure Sensor waiting for uplink" (i have no Structure Sensor, ihave Kinect V2!!!) . my System is a new win 8.1 64bit install with the latest KinectSDK-v2.0_1409 installed and skanect v1.8.2. in the log-file i'm getting a strange error, like Kinect sdk is not installed or kinekt on sdk is installed. it worked already in an earlier Version of the sdk but not it doesnt - all Drivers are up to date, so i have no idea why it is not working!!! My Cpu is a I7-5960X with 64GB Mem - this cpu is also not recognized in the log-file....

SDK 1.6,1.7,1.8 = v1 sensor
SDK 2.0+ = v2 sensor
Currently, Skanect does not support the v2 sensor, as you see in the Info line 6th from the bottom.

The 3 programs that i know of that do v2 currently are: Microsoft SDK 2.0, Kscan3d, and 3d builder (requires win 8 or later)

The best feature i use in Skanect is the offline reconstruct mode, as all the data is saved to re-construct models later. if some data is funky, you can remove the bad part of the capture and still reconstruct from good data.
This feature took medium captures and turned them into hi-res models for me when i captured on my laptop with unsupported gpu in medium quality cpu mode.

The Kinect One Sensor will not work, and is not supported.
