Hey folks,
I saw this crow with the weird white leg in my yard. Our consulting avian vet thought that the leg has probably been strangulated by string or line of some kind, and the tissues are rotting away. It will probably "self-amputate" and we'll have another one-legged crow in town.
Amazing creatures that can survive such injuries and are so intelligent and resilient that they can adapt to life in the wild without one of their legs.
