Highlights from the waterbird survey on 1 June:
A diversity of ducks are still present, but numbers of individuals were low except for harlequins. Shorebird presence is more widespread, with quite a few tattlers and Spotted Sandpipers, along with 6 unidentified shorebirds and a small flock of peeps.
