SK-Regina: SharePoint Consultant --- Ref # 7416

PrecisionERP is a North American leader in providing contract based services to ERP markets including SAP, PeopleSoft, Oracle and JD Edwards.

We are seeking a SharePoint Consultant for a contract assignment in Regina, SK. There is a possibility of contract extension to the end of the year once the initial phase is complete.

The SharePoint consultant should have both technical and functional expertise. The ideal candidate will be required to act as a business analyst and as a technical lead.

Key Responsibilities:
· Planning activities, lay all the ground work for the implementation phase
· Current state assessment of SharePoint environment at client, which will require an upgrade to 2010 version along with hardware requirements.
· Roadmap of implementation activities, which will then impact what projects become part of the overall IT Content Management program, and in what order they get delivered.
· Governance – develop policies, procedures and processes (business rules).
· Refine business and technical visions
· Develop requirements, solution and design.
· Recommend how content should be structured, labeled and categorized, navigation
· Recommend a taxonomy, including alignment with corporate direction on taxonomy
· Roles and Responsibilities – clear definition of roles & responsibilities, skill requirements, resource estimates, ownership, champion by functional area and overall processes, functional and technical support.
· Develop a backup and archiving strategy
· Define support and delivery infrastructure.
· Develop change plan

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Several years of experience as a Sharepoint Consultant
- Must have experience in Sharepoint 2010
- should have both technical and functional expertise
- Able to act as a business analyst and as a technical lead.
- Able to perform responsibilities outlined above.
