On Nov 22 Mrken posted the note below. In April of this year mrken did a
similar thing to me.

I shipped him a laptop he was to ship me a webcam. I sent the Laptop
insured and expidited he claims to have mailed the camera. Two months later
he is not offering any refund or return of the laptop. Though he has
indicated that he would reimburse my postage costs ($23 sound like a fair
price for a laptop?).

He has recently stopped replying to e-mail so maybe I can reach him here.

If anyone else has had bad dealings with mr...@sk.sympatico.ca I would
certainly like to hear from you.

Should my camera ever arrive I will be sure to let you all know but as you
may have guessed - I really doubt that after all this time anything will
happen.

regards,
Alan Amon

Out of curiosity have you reported this incident to the authorities..for

Using a real email address.. the police may be curios to venture such a
task.
You most likely have old email messages saved.
And you have his ISP...

IF he had to ship the cam their would be records of such transaction.
.get him to send copys of them..

And wouldnt your insurance cover you for that.. through what ever you used
If not please explain why..I would like to know
Incase it happens to me.
Then again I would just make a big virus for him.

I have been in a similar predicament. The short version is that i paid for
something that i won in an online auction, and have yet to see it despite the
"7-10 working days" promise. As a result, I contacted the U.S. Postal
Inspectors (since the payment was sent through snail mail), and I am still
waiting for either the item or my money back.

Be VERY warry if someone with the email address qualit...@usa.com tries to
sell you anything, as they may try to steal from you also.

Have u been dealing with this guy on this USA.COM?? u do know what
usa.com is though?? USA.COM, MAIL.COM and all that are Twin Sisters,
similar to Hotmail or Yahoo.. I haven't seen any well establish
businesses doing their daily business from as an Example Hotmail.

Do your home work prior to sending any money.

You can go here and send your remarks to the webmaster.

I've dealt with Ken on more than one occasion, and every time the deal went
well. I had only a few problems, but they were cleared up with no further
delays in the deal. He seems to deal a lot in used computer stuff, and yes
does not seem to be someone who would cheap you out of your money. Of course,
I could be wrong, so be careful anyways.

ATTENTION GROUP

Even if someone burns you, it's highly unethical to publicly trash talk them.

We're old enough to take care of ourselves.

Although 'trashing' them is unethical, isn't it wrong NOT to let people know
you have been ripped off? Maybe others have been ripped off and haven't
said anything until someone else pipes up.

Trash talk is bad, but information is good.
