"RAIL OF LIGHT" DURING NUIT BLANCHE
Saturday October 2 to Sunday November 3 (evening to morning)
Wallace Ave. Footbridge
Local artists Richard Mongiat, Jeff Winch and others will be
participating in Toronto's annual all-night art event. "A 2010
Scotiabank Nuit Blanche installation in Toronto’s Junction Triangle
neighbourhood, in which a grand old bridge will be transformed into a
sparkling chandelier. Rail of Light will be visible from blocks away,
in various directions. Vehicles passing on Dundas Street West will be
unable to miss it. Subway travelers emerging from Dundas West Station
will spot the glow. Pedestrians walking north or south towards it on
the West Toronto Railpath will easily see it from afar, and when they
arrive, they’ll be able to stand beneath it, or sit on one of the park
benches, listening for both the actual trains and the audio we’ve
incorporated. They can then climb the 56 steps to the top, cross the
bridge, and descend, framed in light, on the other side."

More info: http://www.railoflight.ca/

Note: They are looking for volunteers to help with setup, takedown,
and manning the exhibit. Please email ra...@junctiontriangle.ca if you
are able to help out.
