since its non-persistence connection, total of 11 (1 file and 10 images) TCP connections will be established.

Hi 

Based on my understanding there will be 11 connections made and for each connection as in the scenario shown in the slide there will be 2.5*RTT .So, for 11 connections 2.5*11*RTT =27.5 RTT.....

Correct me if I am wrong.

It should be 11 connections. But what if we use ftp protocol for same webpage i think it should be 12 connections one for control connection which is persistent and other 11 for data transfer because it is not persistent connection. Is it right? If I am wrong then reply with the right one.

If website is old and works on the ftp protocol then we might can do ftp on webpage. I am not sure though.

A more valid question is "can ftp get multiple files?  if so, how many connections it uses?"

Some ftp client support mget.  An wireshark capture will tell the story.  Anyone wants to try?
