Tutors Needed @ $13/hour

The CS Study Lab (in MH226) will soon be open Monday - Thursday from 11 - 5 and will provide free tutoring to students taking CS46A, CS46B, CS146, and possibly a few other CS courses. The lab's web site is:

I need students interested in tutoring 2 - 8 hours/week in the study lab for $13/hour. If you are interested, send the completed application to me by 5 PM on Feb 5. The application can be found at the web site given above. Please do NOT apply unless you:

1. are a strong Java programmer with good debugging and problem solving skills, 

2. have successfully taken the courses mentioned above (or their equivalents),

3. are available during some of the lab's hours of operation, and 

4. have an interest in teaching people how to program. 

Preference will be given to people with prior tutoring experience. Last semester's volunteers are strongly encouraged to apply. I anticipate hiring 3 - 6 tutors
