I have read the book, your slides, and search online to understand how one and two’s complement works. But I am struggling to understand. I understand that sign magnitude utilizes the left most bit to determine if it is a negative value or not. But I don’t understand how a 4 bit value 1100 is represented in one’s complement o two’s complement. Can you please help me? I posted this question on canvas but I doubt anyone is going to respond.
