Schedule for the semester

At our 2/2/09 meeting we came up with a number of topics that we can
discuss at future meetings (listed below). Although our future
meetings don't have to be restricted to items from this list, it is a
good starting point. If anyone would like to provide input on what
topics we focus on during which meetings please let me know.

Teaching strategies for asynchronous learning
Educational uses of games
Use of Elluminate for online synchronous and asynchronous teaching
Dealing with students not prepared to use the technology required in
our classes
Wikis as a tool for collaboration
Mapping our teaching practices to the tools we have available for
delivering our lessons

I teach during our Monday meetings so I will - for a while at least - be living vicariously through the group here. That said... I am proposing a "Friday Lunchtime Brown Bag Play-time Session" over in Bentel Hall on the latest Web 2.0 technologies...
