Dear Colleagues:
Happy
New Year. Despite the rough economy, the Western Psychology Conference
for Undergraduate Research provides a wonderful, affordable venue for
your students from your Experimental/Research Methods courses to
present their course projects or independent research and gain valuable
experience. This year mark's the 5th Anniversary that the Conference
will be held on the campus of Saint Mary's College of California and
the 40th Anniversary overall since the conference began at Santa Clara
University.
This year's conference will be held on Saturday,
April 17, 2010. The deadline for submitting abstracts is April 2nd. The
conference registration fee is $30.00 (which includes lunch).
This
is an excellent opportunity for your students to gain valuable
experience presenting their work in a professional setting. It also
provides them an opportunity to meet with other students and faculty
members who share their interests.
Teaching and students are at the core of our mission as educators. For more information or reservation, please contact me at
kog...@stmarys-ca.edu or call
925-631-4072. A conference web site will be up shortly and a conference flier sent to you in the coming day.
Thank you, and I hope to see you and your students at the conference!
Sincerely,
Keith H. Ogawa, Ph. D.
