Program Description:
Target students: juniors, seniors and graduate students of
SJSU's Engineering, Technology and Business majors.
Internship site: Foxconn's Shengzhen site in China
Timeframe: June - August, 2011
Selection:
(1) VNA pre-qualification: Resume review and interview
(2) Foxconn management selection: VNA pre-qualified candidates to be
interviewed by Foxconn HR and Shengzhen site management
(3) Foxconn final selected interns will be FULLY subsidized for this
internship in Shengzhen, i.e. air fares, transportation, meals and lodging all
covered by Foxconn. Interns will also receive a small allowance (a few
hundred USD).
(4) VNA Pre-qualified candidates need to commit 40 hours of volunteer work
to VNA in Spring Semester, 2011. Volunteer project will be assigned by
VNA.
NOTE: Foxconn (Hong Hai) Corporation is the worldwide
largest OEM for computer, consumer electronics and communication products.
