Kenya have dinner with me?

You are all cordially invited to partake of a (sort of) traditional Kenyan meal with me. I'd love to show my appreciation for your support for sending me back to Kenya for Round II !!!!! I have been so blessed to experience God's infinite provision through you all--not just because you wrote me a check/said you'd pray, but because of the blessing your presence over the course of all of our various relationships has been, in whatever form it has taken. 

So, here is what you need to know--

*Who: you, me, and...a bunch of other people

*What: a Kenyan dinner cooked by a Chinese American woman (ha ha), testimony (by me, of course), etc.

*When: Sunday, May 6, 2012, 5:30 pm (consider it a nice break before finals!)

*Where: my apartment at 2535 College Ave. #209

*Why: so I can appreciate you and feed you, and so I can share about my trip to Kenya last year (if you want to hear even more) and share about prayer requests for this summer.

*RSVP: by Friday May 27, 2012 (this Friday) if you can come or not! Just reply to this email (RIGHT NOW! It'll be super speedy!)

And for those of you LA friends, I know you probably can't make it up here, but I just wanted to include you in the festivities anyway :)

Hello, KENYA ALL BE FLEXIBLE?

The dinner date (ha ha) has changed to FRIDAY, MAY 4, 6:00 because all the InterVarsity Juniors have a scheduling conflict. Also, I know people will be coming from work, so no worries about being late!!!

In Kenya, we just roll with the scheduling changes...actually in Kenya...there are no such things as schedules. If you have already RSVP'd, make note of the date change. If you don't say anything, I will assume you can still make it. If you cannot make it anymore, let me know!!!

I am assuming you all still can make it--please let me know BY TONIGHT if you CANNOT anymore, that way I can plan accordingly for food and also make sure that I have enough space in my apartment.

Again, I just ask that if you come that you do be intentional about doing so--the night will not just be about me giving you food, but we'll have prayer and testimony too.
