Hello all,
Just a quick update to let you know I will be selling and signing books at two wonderful, local (and FREE) upcoming book events:
1. The Stanislaus County Library Local Author Fair, Saturday, Sept. 12, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm at the main library in downtown Modesto, outside under the portico. This event features an array of local authors selling their wares, and part of the proceeds benefit the Library Foundation. It also takes place during the Saturday morning downtown Farmer's Market, which is right nearby and offers a wide range of fresh-as-can-be Central Valley produce. 2. The Great Valley Bookfest, Saturday, Oct 10th 2015 from 10:00 am to 4:00pm at the Promenade Shops in Manteca, CA. Says the website, "Celebrate the fun of reading with author talks, autographs, cooking demos, workshops, costume parade, contests, vendors, and books, books, books!" I will be in the Authors' Alley most of the day as well as speaking at the Adventure Theater at 3:00 pm. There is also a Sip 'n' Spell Adult Spelling Bee at Delicato Vineyards on Oct. 8th, a few days prior, in conjunction with the Bookfest. More info available at http://greatvalleybookfest.org/
